January 2011 sees the release of the exciting debut LP 'Shimmering Technicolour Nightmares' from Big Lion.

Issued on Vivid Records, the LP features the single 'Cold', a sweet, bubbling song that has delicate, lyrical harmonies.

Big Lion, hailed as a Tour de Force, has been dazzling the nation with lush tones and drones, and his multi-instrumental talents and fragile, whispered singing style cover this album with a subtle, soulful intimacy.

Big Lion's musical influences are eclectic, but do not let this detract you from the strength of his euphony. From Electronica, through Shoegaze, via Post-Rock we are led to a distinctive sound that instead of being a clutch of songs, is a magically woven carpet of melodic, musical forms.
